Catholic Eucharistic Hymnal Latin English 1935 booklet
A Permanent Committee, consisting of twelve Bishops
and the Diocesan Directors of the Priests Eucharistic League, has been
formed for the purpose of preparing a suitable program for National
Eucharistic Congresses as well as for the celebration of Diocesan
Eucharistic Days.
It was the mind of the Permanent Committee of
Bishops that a Eucharistic Hymnal containing hymns suitable for
Eucharistic celebrations should be compiled so that all our people
taking part in these celebrations may become familiar with these hymns.
This pamphlet includes hymns suitable for:
- Act of Contrition
- Communion Hymns (both before and after Holy Communion)
- General Eucharistic Hymns
- Latin Eucharistic Hymns
- Masses- Vatican Chants
- Processional and Recessional Hymns
There are 30 Hymns in English, 12 Latin Hymns and 8 Masses/ Vatican Chants.
